ABOUT THE BWC LIBRARY

Stephen Hauck

About the Founder

Thebwclibrary.com was founded in late 2023 after Stephen, a tenured Force Instructor and law enforcement leader, recognized a critical operational need: officers and law enforcement must take proactive control of their body-worn camera (BWC) footage. The platform’s mission is clear and essential: to ensure law enforcement professionals have direct access to videos that prioritize teaching life-saving lessons and subsequently increase operational competence.

Stephen serves as a District Attorney Investigator and previously led officers as a Police Corporal, accumulating invaluable high-stakes experience across roles like Tactical SWAT Operator, Rangemaster, and Field Training Officer.

This solution is not just based on field experience, but on a commitment to law enforcement taking control of body-worn camera footage from media companies and putting it in the hands of law enforcement professionals. With a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration (Logistics and Operations), Stephen looks to solve problems in law enforcement from a macro-perspective. The result is a platform dedicated to applying modern technology to solve a core public safety problem, driven by an unwavering commitment to integrity and excellence.
